I thought I would give a little update on the pregnancy. I am 10 weeks this week and I definitely feel pregnant. I am thankful for no morning sickness, but the extreme fatigue has got to go. I am hoping I will have a little more energy once the 2nd trimester arrives in the next 3 weeks. I literally wake up tired and go to bed exhausted. I don't think I ever feel refreshed, which makes for a long long day. I'm always yawning and I only feel like laying on the couch all day. It doesn't put me in the best mood either since I am always tired. It feels like I haven't slept in days. The past couple days I have been suffering with a headache. The headache is probably from the pollen and it's no fun. I can't take any medication until the second trimester, so I just have to deal with it. I am also suffering from extreme preggo brain. I can literally think "Oh I have to do that.. or I need to do that!" and then forget it the next thought. It's very annoying. I've found myself just standing in the middle of a room thinking, "Why did I come in here?" I've also tried looking for the milk in the microwave, throwing trash away under a cabinet, and several other crazy things. I have also developed a lot of food aversions. Things just don't taste the same as they did... I've discovered I can not stand any produce from Walmart. It is disgusting. It tastes like water. I am going to try fruit from Publix and see if it tastes any better. I really am craving fresh peaches and grapes. I need to see if the Farmers Market is open because that's the best fruit hands down. I've also decided to not drink caffeine during the pregnancy, but I did cheat on Saturday and I had a sweet tea from Foosackly's. I debated with myself all day about having just one cup of sweet tea and I finally gave in.. I was ready to taste the pure deliciousness of a foo tea and as that first sip hit my taste buds, I was severely disappointed. It just did not have the same taste.. now maybe the person that made the tea didn't do a good job or maybe this whole taste thing threw off what I was expecting. Needless to say I feel a little better about missing out on my sweet tea now... I guess it just doesn't taste too good to me right now because I know deep down I don't need to be drinking caffeine. It will be better for our baby in the long run. Now I just need this fatigue to disappear and this will be an easy pregnancy!
P.S. Baby is starting to develop it's girl or boy parts this week... so if you're wanting one gender more than the other you better be praying! haha ;]

Oh Hail...
This weekend we made a trip to Mobile! It had been a month since we had graced the town with our presence, so in my opinion it was long overdue! ;] There's nothing better than going back to mobtown to see everyone. I don't think a weekend is long enough though.. Basically we have one and 1/2 days to squeeze everyone in. It makes for a busy trip! We won't be back to Mobile until Easter weekend.. so about another month. We had a great time and didn't leave till about 3:15pm. The time change is great because we can leave a little later and still get back during daylight. Josh started saying stuff about leaving around 2.. but I said we're fine.. let's stick around just a little bit longer. I was actually very tired (thank you pregnancy), but I am kind of getting use to the feeling of exhaustion 24/7. So I kept Josh from trying to rush off because he always is trying to rush off from everything. Now let me explain why the fact that we stayed that extra hour was such a big deal...
We had an easy drive and had made it to 84 around Daleville when we started noticing this stuff on the ground that looked like snow. We both looked at each other with confusion on our faces because ummm it's 70 something degrees out.. obviously way too hot for snow. We keep driving and the snow ice stuff is everywhere.. Finally the curiosity is too much and we pull over to find out what this mystery is! As we pull to a stop I manage to yell out "It's hail!!" I was pretty proud of myself because I figured out what it was before Josh, who is Mr. Meteorology Minor. It was the last thing we were expecting because it never storms here in the Wiregrass! I even said that this weekend to my mom.. or a lot of times it will just rain for 5 minutes and then move on. So Josh gets out of the truck to pick up the hail.. The hail ranged from the size of a penny to a ping pong ball.. and there was LOTS of it. We got back on the road to home and talked about how glad we were that the storm hit in Daleville. There were limbs down and leaves everywhere. We kept driving and didn't notice anymore hail.. "whew" was our thought.. glad we don't have to worry about our house. We turn down the main road that heads toward our neighborhood and merge onto the county road.. when our attitudes changed. Josh says "Ohhhh nooo..." I say "You think there was a tornado?" Josh continues his "Oh no's and Oh man's" and "This isn't goods" as we look around and see hail.. leaves everywhere, limbs down.. The road was literally covered in leaves. And it just kept getting worse the closer we got to our neighborhood. We make the final turn before our neighborhood and all you see is hail... and the pretty pear trees that are just torn apart and missing their leaves. Since I have grown up on the Gulf Coast I can only describe that it looked like we had been through a hurricane. We both were holding our breath as we drove closer to our house as we look at our neighbors houses... When we pull into our driveway all I see is hail, thick hail, that has destroyed my flower bed. We jump out of the car and this is what we see..
The hail ranged from the size of a quarter to a golf ball (just in our yard - there were reports of tennis ball size hail).. Leaves were plastered to our house, grass had turned to dirt, spotlights were shattered, my hummingbird feeder shattered, grill cover looked like it had gone through a shredder, the vinyl on the back of our house is cracked, the roof on our porch is all dented, our air conditioning unit has dents, and the biggest of all... our roof is all messed up! It's really not something you want to drive up too.. especially when you weren't expecting it! At least for hurricanes you know what's coming and you know what to expect... We didn't even know there was severe weather in our forecast. Josh talked to our neighbors and found out the storm hit about 4:06pm it came from the west and we experienced straight line winds around 60 mph. The back of our house faces the west, so we got hit pretty bad. Thankfully our windows didn't shatter and our screened in porch wasn't shredded. We have a large oak tree behind our house that I believe helped shield the house. One neighbor said the storm was like noting she had ever heard. It sounded like a train was about to plow through her house and could hear glass being shattered outside. She was hiding in the bathtub for fear of a tornado. There were no reports of tornados, but straight line winds can be more damaging than a small tornado. I'm just thankful we came home to a house still standing. It could've been a lot worse and everything can be replaced. So here are a few thoughts to close out this blog... First - if I hadn't told Josh that we can stay a little longer than we could've been driving when that storm hit. Second - if I hadn't convinced Josh it was time to visit Mobile and we had been in town, I would've had a serious panic attack. I can't imagine the noise that storm was making and I know I would've been in the bathtub trying to hold both dogs and I know Josh wouldn't of listened to me and gotten in the bathtub too. That whole situation would not of been good for the pregnancy! We were about an hour and a half after the storm hit and the hail was still huge.. I can't imagine the size of it before it started melting. God was watching out for us!
Here are a few more pictures from our hail storm from the 27th of March:

A Little Surprise..
I know it has been an extremely long time since I have blogged, but that's because I have had a little secret I have been keeping from most of the world. We found out on February 21st that we are expecting a little baby! Yes, this means we are pregnant! It was a happy surprise and we are very excited! Baby Pritchard will make his/her debut around the end of October. The estimated due date is October 24th. Today we had the first appointment. (I am 9 weeks pregnant.) I had an ultrasound and was able to hear the heartbeat. That's just something that's too special to describe. It was very surreal to see our baby for the first time and to hear and see the heart beating. We watched the chest rise and fall as the little heart pumped! My pregnancy has been fairly easy so far.. I had some nausea around week 6 - 7, but it's gone now thankfully. The worst thing so far has been the cold I had last week because I can't take any medicine. Luckily I'm doing better now.. it was pretty miserable for a while there. Other than that the pregnancy has been easy besides the fact that I am always tired. The next appointment is April 18th, but it's just a checkup. We will not find out the sex until the end of May. It will be a long wait till then! Here is a picture of us with the ultrasound pictures:
Other than that exciting news, we have just been busy working... there is not much else to report on. My parents came to visit this past weekend for the first time since the beginning of December, so it was nice to have them here! I got a few maternity things courtesy of them, which is great since I can tell I am gaining weight! So thanks Mom and Dad!
Josh completed his range safety course last week and received his certificate... it was an intense course and he is glad to have that done and over with! His graduate class is coming to an end shortly! His final project is due on Wednesday! He is still holding in A in the course! That's a great accomplishment for a graduate level class! Yay Josh!
It's been so long since I've blogged I really can't remember if there is anything else to blog about.. I'll be updating regularly now and letting everyone know how the baby is doing!

Happy Valentine's Day
We still haven't finished the 3rd bedroom.... It has been a pain. After sanding it once, we discovered it had to be sanded again... So we did that and got the room ready for paint. We started painting on Friday and discovered Saturday morning that you can still see all the ridges from the stripes. Josh is thinking that 3 coats will hopefully cover the ridges up. It's still not finished because we ran out of paint yesterday and today has been very busy and we haven't had time to paint. Maybe next weekend he will get it done..
I have a funny story... Saturday morning we cooked a big breakfast.. eggs with cheese, bacon, and biscuits with gravy. (Yum) Josh was in charge of making the gravy. He cooked the bacon first so he would have some grease.. and then he poured in the flour. He starts stirring the flour around and he's like this doesn't look right, I don't think there is enough grease for the flour.. As he is saying this he reaches for some of the flour that is being cooked in hot grease... he picks up some clumps with his bare heads and I say "What are you doing!!!!!!" He looks at me holding the clumps in his hand and then with a delayed reaction goes "OW! Ow! Ow!" And runs to the sink to rinse the stuff off. Oh Josh.. what would we do without him? haha
Exciting news for the city of Dothan: We now have a brand new Hobby Lobby!!! I was sooo excited when I found out! I love Hobby Lobby and was sad to find out Dothan only had a Michaels when I first moved here. HL is just so much better and it has a lot more to choose from! I've been there twice so far!
Josh and his coworkers finally got the server working last Tuesday, so that's a big YAY! Thanks for your prayers!
This week will be easy for me at work. Monday and Tuesday we have Valentine parties for the two different classes. It's also a short week because we have winter break. Since we have a two day winter break, I am coming to Mobile! I am so excited! I am ready for some Foosacklys! I also get to meet my family's new dog, Jett. I wonder how Jackson is going to react to a new dog in his old home. haha It'll be interesting to see.
Josh's class is going well. He has gotten 90's on both his quizzes and is awaiting his grade on a project he just turned in on Wednesday. The class is already half way done and he is excited about that! His average is above the class average, so Go Josh!
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.. Josh and I aren't big fans of this holiday. Therefore, we don't do much for it. We decided to go out to eat today in order to avoid crowds. We went to Olive Garden and it was so so good. I had not been to OG in a long time, so it was delish! We were going to go to a movie, but stuff came up, so we will see it another weekend. Josh also got me a new dress, which is the best gift for me! I love clothes! Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!
This week is suppose to be wonderful weather! High 60's/low 70's.. I am so excited! I will be spending some time outside soaking up some sun! Enjoy the week y'all!

Blog Changes..
I'm not sure if everyone can see it or not, but I redesigned the blog and added a new template and font. I think it makes it more fun!
We are in the middle of prepping our 3rd room for paint! We had to sand all the walls because the people who owned the house before painted it with stripes and there was a ridge between each stripe. That was hard work and my arm and wrist hurts! Josh is starting to tape the baseboards now. I don't think we will paint until tomorrow though because it's already 5pm and we have been going nonstop all day. Josh finished our master bath touchups, while I sanded the other room. Therefore, the bathroom is finished! We just have to take down tape! I will upload pictures as soon as I can..
Tonight I am making fried chicken fingers.. I found a batter mixture that I am going to try so hopefully they will turn out. Every other time I've tried to fry things it just hasn't turned out! The taste is not there.. I've tried several different recipes, but it's just never that good. I prefer my food grilled most of the time, but Josh likes fried of course. I also think that since I am pulling out our fryer it calls for some fried pickles! Yum! Fried chicken fingers, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Sounds good to me!
As I mentioned in the previous blog post, Josh is needing the prayers for his job! The database went down on Friday and he was at work till 8pm trying to fix it. His boss wasn't too happy and they didn't get it completely fixed, so Monday isn't a day he is looking forward too. Please pray that they can figure out the problem and all will be fixed. He is really wishing Justin was here because he is the computer guy and the whole problem never would've happened if he had been there.
Ok I have to get started on supper! Have a great weekend!
This is us on the playground at Fort Rucker.. :] It's beautiful there.

Rain Rain...
It's really cold outside and raining.. I wish it would snow! But it's not in the forecast sadly... "/ The northern states have enough snow! They should share some with us down here!
Last weekend we painted our master bathroom. It was like a mint toothpaste green color and now it's a darker green color. I really like it! The pictures don't do the color justice. We still have some spots to touch up, so we will finish it this weekend. So far we have been able to check two things off our goals for 2011: clean out spare bedroom and paint master bath. Go us!
Josh has been stressed the past couple of weeks. His coworker is in Arizona for the National Guard, so Josh is holding up the fort without him. He has been very busy and things haven't been going the way he would like them. So keep him in your prayers for the next couple months because Justin won't be back until May. On top of the added stress from work, he is also dealing with classes. He has a project due next week, so that's another reason to keep him in your prayers!
I am finally feeling better after being sick for 2 weeks. (Knock on wood) I was having a lot of sinus problems, but I finally beat it. Luckily it never traveled past my head. I don't have any funny stories to share from my classroom this post. Maybe next time.
We also picked out paint for our third bedroom and bathroom. It's a green color, but it has more yellow in it than the color we picked for our master bath. So one weekend we will be accomplishing that goal.
Well I'm going to stop blogging now because my computer is being very slow for some reason. I am typing an entire paragraph and then having to wait 5 minutes for it to all pop up and it is very irritating! I need to restart my computer, so I must sign off!

Tootie
You may wonder why I titled this blog "Tootie", well I have a story to explain it. As you know I am working with 3 year olds and it's never boring. There is always drama, crying, yelling, snot, coughing, and the occasional bathroom accident. I was watching the kids on the playground and the other teacher I work with had gone to use the restroom. I was sitting with the kindergarten teachers when a little girl walked up. We will call her A.... A is standing there doing what I call the "potty dance" and I ask what she needs and she replies "I have to make a stinky"... Me: Ok, well go to the bathroom! A: But I have to make a stinky!!! Me: Ok A go to the bathroom then. A: BUT! I have to make a stinky and my mom still wipes my tootie!!! Every teacher around me busted out laughing. Laughing at her and at me because I am sure my face was priceless. I immediately think "I did not sign up for this!!!!" I can handle changing a diaper for a baby.. it's really no problem. It can make me gag every once in a while, but I can handle it. My best friends son, Grayson, is a child that I would do anything for.. I was around him from the day he was born (and I mean I was there when he took his first breath of air) so anytime I was babysitting him and something happened I was fine and it didn't gross me out. As I've been told a million times, when it's your own child it doesn't matter and Grayson is as close as it comes for now. But a 3 or she may be 4 by now child that I don't really know wants me to wipe their butt, I don't think I could handle that. Luckily my coworker walks out onto the playground just in time! We explain the situation and she says well I am so sorry but they are suppose to be able to do that for themselves when they come to school. So we sent A to the bathroom to make her stinky by herself. I'm not sure if Mrs. C checked on her or not, but that's my tootie story!
Josh made it to Orlando, however he wasn't a happy camper by the time he made it to the hotel. I was nervous about him going by himself and it turns out I was correct in feeling that way. He let the gas light come on because he thought his exit was coming up soon and he didn't want to get off and pay a toll (can we say cheap?). Well let me just say if I had been with him we never would've let the gas light come on. That's just not smart.. and you're probably thinking he ran out of gas.. well not quite. He decided he had to get off and get gas so as he was exiting he had to pay a 25 cent toll. Now I know exactly how Josh drives and he doesn't like to slow down. If he thinks a light is about to turn green he will keep that car going as if you are about to run through the light. He rolls through stop signs and I could keep going on and on.. Anyway so he is rolling through a toll booth and I know without him telling me he was not going as slow as he should have been because the next part of this story wouldn't of happened. He goes to throw a quarter into the bucket at the booth and misses the bucket, yet he goes right through the toll booth because he is traveling so fast. The alarm goes off signaling that he didn't pay the toll. So we will be receiving a fine for that in our mailbox. And it's mailed to the person who the car is registered too. I'm not even in that state and I am getting a fine! He's lucky it doesn't go on my record because I would not be a very happy person! After he gets gas he couldn't find his exit and ended up paying several tolls getting on and off the interstate. Finally he found his way.. he wasn't too happy, but at least he made it there safely.
I got an exercise bike on Sunday. Josh's company pays up to $200 for health stuff, so his fiscal year is ending in March and we decided to take advantage of his benefits. As you know I name all my stuff, so her name is Jillian as in Jillian Michaels. I worked out Sunday and Monday and yesterday I could barely pedal when the resistance went up... My legs and knees were hurting! I'm thinking today I may only be able to do zumba and then ride Jillian on a light workout. I've gotta take it slow at first! Now I made a comment about being cheap when I was talking about the toll booth.. and now I have another example of that. Jillian is iPod compatible and also has a fan that is run by batteries. Well as I was doing my workout on Sunday I plugged in my iPod and Josh starts complaining about using the batteries and I said I won't use it a lot, but he was watching football and that wasn't inspiring me to pedal, so I wanted to listen to something to motivate me. So he goes back to little drawer of cables and chargers, etc... And plugs in this charger to my bike.. it makes the iPod turn off.. so of course he has to try and figure it out .. I finish my workout and he starts plugging things in and yady ya... I'm not paying him any attention and then he says I think I broke it. "What!? How did you do that!!" He plugged in the charger and it started smoking and after that happened the iPod wouldn't work at all. I seriously had the bike 2 hours and he already broke it. He has this tendency to break anything that I get that's new. Needless to say I wasn't too happy and he said he wasn't going to take the bike apart and take it back because it was too much work. Finally he decides he can't fix it and calls Walmart and works out a deal with them. He took the part he broke back and they let him get a new one, but he had to go through the box and then put it back the right way. He also had to go to the southside Walmart which is like 20 minutes from us. So he probably spent more money driving around than a pack of batteries would have cost us. The reason he broke the iPod connection is because he plugged in 12 volts with that charger when it could only handle 6! Way to go Josh! lol All because he didn't want to have to worry about buying more batteries. Luckily it's fixed and works just great!
